Parents and Students are invited to an informational meeting about a trip that Mrs. Schaaf will be hosting during the summer of 2026. We will be visiting London, England and Paris, France, as well as Venice, Rome, Pompeii, and the island of Capri in Italy. This is NOT a school sponsored trip and will be privately paid by the travelers. Please join her to learn more about this amazing opportunity for both students and adults by attending the informational meeting on Tuesday, October 15th. It will be held in Room 25 (2nd floor) at Washington School at 7:00 PM. Please use the front doors. This trip is open to everyone from 6th Grade and up.

Ms. Tennant's Advanced FACS students entered The Great Food Truck Race. The students created their truck fronts, decided on their cuisine, determined their menus and pricing, and then magic.

On Monday, we had the opportunity to have Ryan Wetzel speak to our middle and high school students. A native Montanan, Wetzel has been a strong advocate for youth and adults struggling with mental health. Wetzel’s passion now is to share his life experiences and struggles in hopes of helping save lives. His message is about giving life a chance!

On Tuesday, thanks to the Eastern Monana Concert Associiation our middle and high school students were able to enjoy a concert by Jason Lyle Back, “100 Hits of Stage and and Screen,” such talented musicians.

OH MY GOODNESS! What an experience! Last Wednesday, our WMS students visited DCC for the Glendive Cultivating Careers Experience Event. This was a partnership between Montana Chamber Foundation, DCC, businesses in the sounding area, and SO MANY more!
Our students had an opportunity to have short hands-on experiences and learned from the experts in our community about what their jobs are about and what they do. Our students learned so much and had a peek inside what is out there in our community! They also increased their appreciation of all the businesses and employees' roles!

Did you know our students volunteer in various ways in the community?
Recently, Ms. Tennant's 8th-graders walked to The Heritage to visit and have cookies with the residents. The students split up into small groups. They asked each other about their lives and families and where their families are from. Some of the residents asked a few of our students about their future plans and life goals. It was a great visit with lots of good conversations and laughs!

Homecoming is next week!!!!
