Happy Halloween! Friendly reminder that we do have required Friday School tomorrow!
Students might find some treats awaiting them! BOO!

Mrs. Eckert's 6th-graders practiced identifying the point of view by facing off with another student. Whoever correctly identified the correct first, second, or third-person point of view according to the sentence won! Who said learning doesn't awaken your senses?

Our preschoolers want to remind you of some safety advice. Some things lurk in the dark. Stay safe as the sun does down earlier, and always be with a friend.

Mrs. Wade's class is working on critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and more as they create a tower that will hold the most books.

Our skills and brains aren't the only things growing in Ms. Tennant's FACS class! Check out the plants they are growing and how well they are doing!

WOW! What great seasons our WMS Cross Country, Football, and Volleyball Teams experienced! We greatly appreciate all our student-athletes, parents, coaches, and Activities Director, Mr. Murphy, for all their support.
We are said to say goodbye to those sports, but we are excited for WMS Girls' Basketball and Wrestling to begin!
Shout out to our 8th-graders who participated on teams at DCHS!

What sparks you? Mrs. Newton's STEM class reflected on what SPARKS them!

Our 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade Band and Choir had their first performance of the year! It was a wonderful opportunity for them to share their passion for music and growth as students! Thank you to Mr. Burkhard and Ms. Sickler for making this performance a reality.

Mrs. Eckert's students learned about conflict in a story by engaging in activities to increase critical thinking.

Our students are enjoying the thinking that our new ELA curriculum resource is providing. Mrs. Eckert keeps her students on their toes and their brains ready to dig in.

Mr. Hopfauf's students worked in small groups growing their decision-making skills, collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity to build the tallest and/or most glamorous structures with limited supplies. It was great practice to stretch their thinking.

A friendly reminder from Mrs. Lynn's Class...

Our own local celebrity, Dinodave, graciously donated a copy of his book of hilarious & heart-warming adventures to our WMS library for our students to relish. Thank you, Dave Fuqua!
