It’s a colorful jungle out there! Stay hind and give grace to all!

We can't wait!!! We need your help!

Last week, Ms. Hellman and Mrs. Schaaf's 7th-grade Social Studies students went through the Oregon Trail simulation. Gotta have a sense of humor with the trails and tragedies that occurred at that time in history. Thanks for embracing that, Ms. Hellman and Mrs. Schaaf!

Before Spring Break, WMS students showed their spirit loud and proud by dressing up ready for the break, even though it was snowing outside.

Signs of spring are everywhere if you look close enough.

Our 6th-8th grader TIP students would encourage you to keep sharing the kindness.

When you are trying to wrangle 100 track student-athletes for team pictures and you have a few who are in a modeling phase. You take their picture and move on. These guys!

Happy National School Librarian Day!!! Thank you, Mrs. Houck for all you do to bring reading to life!

Before Spring Break, Mrs. Newton's 7th-grade Science students were exploring the body systems of the frog. And they told me they weren't excited!😆
Thank you to all the parent volunteers who help make this experience possible.

This week is a big week for celebrating school staff! We can't forget Mr Swanson, our Dean of Students! Happy Assistant Principal's/Dean of Students Week! We appreciate all that you do each day!!!

A teacher in the U.S. had her students turn their phones on loud, and every time they received a notification they went up and put a tally mark under the correct category. This was one class, one period. Every one of these tally marks is an interruption in a students education. Cell phones can be toxic to a learning environment.

This week we are celebrating our amazing paraeducators at WMS and throughout GPS!!! Thank you for all you do for our students each and every day!!!

Looking forward to seeing our WMS students back at school tomorrow!

From our pre-school friends and all of WMS, have a safe and relaxing Spring Break!! We'll see you Tuesday, April 2nd!

The WMS Student Council works hard to give back to our community. Recently, they raised $235 and donated it to Happy Tails. Then, Student Council matched what was raised and present $235 to J & P Pound Puppies. #GoDemons

Mrs. Hellman's 8th-History students have been researching and synthesizing a major turning point in history. Students could choose to share their learning through an exhibit or presentation. Here are a few examples from the exhibit hall.
