LUNCH: Chicken drumsticks, french fries, fruit, veggie, and milk or Salad Bar
DCC is offering an intro to welding class for middle school. Girls class will be on March 13 and boys will be on March 14. You will learn basic safety and instruction as well as hands on experience. You will be able to create a piece that you can take home. For more information, please come to the office.
There will be a Big Champs meeting on Wednesday, March 13 during 8th grade lunch recess in the activities room.
This is a reminder that we have Girls Club on Tuesday, March 12.
March 22 is the last day to order yearbooks. Mrs. James can not guarantee a lot of extra yearbooks when they come in so order now. The homeroom in each grade level that purchases the most will receive breakfast from Mrs. James. Order forms are in the office.
We have WMS Demon T-shirts for sale! The cool thing about these is that you get to put the print on yourself if you’d like! All funds from this fundraiser go directly back into the WMS fundraiser account that funds our BLITZ days and other fun things we do. Stop by the office and pick up an order form and see what they look like! Cost of the t-shirts is $15.
Tomorrow is a BLITZ day so we will be running an early out schedule and then from 1:18 to 3:18 students who have all of their work completed will be doing fun activities in the gym/cafeteria. Those who have some work to catch up on will be provided the time/support to get caught up. Remember, Friday 3/15 is the last day of 3rd quarter so let’s work hard this week to finish the quarter strong!
- This is a reminder to students and staff to remember to nominate others for the TIP Kindness Award. Anytime you observe a student or staff member doing a kind deed for another, you may write up an award for them. These are delivered at the end of the month by our TIP members. You may pick them up from the main office or from Mrs. Nissley.

- Three boys walk into a candy store. The first boy goes up to the old cashier and says, 'May I have 10 jellybeans?" The old cashier nodded and got out the ladder, for they were on the top shelf. So he climbed up, grabbed the jar, counted out 10 jellybeans, and then put the jar and ladder away. "And what would you like?" he asked the second buy. He also said 10 jellybeans. So the old cashier got out the ladder, grabbed the jar, and then counted out 10 jellybeans. Before he put the jar away, he asked the third boy, "Do you want 10 jellybeans too?" The third boy shook his head. "Then what do you want?" the cashier said putting the ladder away. The third boy replied, "I want FIVE jellybeans." (Corbin Gabbert)
